Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Demands National Animal Status for Cow, Calls for End to Mob Lynching and Hate Politics

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has questioned why the government is avoiding declaring the cow as the “National Animal” of India. The organization stated that violence, mob lynching, and hate politics in the name of cow protection must come to an end. Jamiat said its only demand is to grant the cow official national animal status and introduce a uniform law applicable equally across all states without discrimination.
