Holy Angel English High School Students Shine at ICL Season-12, Win Silver Medals
New Delhi | August 2026:
Students of Holy Angel English High School delivered an impressive performance at the ICL (Indian Combat League) Season-12 National Martial Arts Competition held in New Delhi under the aegis of the National Martial Arts Committee India.
Sheikh Afraz Lal Babu and Shlok Rinkubhai Gadhiya proudly represented the school and secured silver medals in their respective Kids MMA events, bringing recognition and pride to their school, families and coaches.
Sheikh Afraz Lal Babu, under the below-15 age category and up to 50 kg weight category, put up a strong performance in the Kids MMA event and won a silver medal. Shlok Rinkubhai Gadhiya also delivered an excellent performance in the below-15 age category and up to 40 kg weight category, earning a silver medal.
The competition, held from August 20 to 23, 2026, witnessed participation from martial artists across different age and weight categories. The achievements of both students reflect their hard work, discipline and dedication towards martial arts training.
Their success was supported by the guidance and training of CKL Academy coaches Yusuf Sir and Marwan Sir. The school principal, K. Simson Sir, congratulated both students and appreciated their efforts.
The principal said that the school strives to identify and encourage students’ hidden talents while providing opportunities beyond academics. He emphasised that sports and other competitive activities help students develop confidence, discipline and determination.
