Awareness Meeting on Cyber Crime and New Laws Concludes in Kandivali West

Mumbai, February 20: A significant meeting on cyber crime and three new laws was organized under the leadership of Senior Police Inspector Ravi Adane of Kandivali West Police Station. The meeting took place at Vaishno Hall in Parekh Nagar, with representatives from the Mohalla Committee, Peace Committee, Traders Association, and other organizations in attendance.  


During the meeting, Police Inspector Deepak, API Kadhwane, Govardhan, Bhise, and advocates shared crucial legal information on preventing cyber crimes. Special pamphlets detailing measures to avoid cyber fraud were also distributed to the citizens.  


On this occasion, newly appointed Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Adane was honored with a shawl and a bouquet by senior citizen member of the Mohalla Committee, Jaishankar Singh Thakur, and other social workers.  


In his address, Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Adane provided insights into the three new laws and discussed the rising cases of digital fraud and cyber crime. He emphasized that cyber criminals are using emails, mobile phones, and other digital platforms to commit fraud, making it essential for people to stay alert.
