Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Passes Away at 92 (1932 - 2024) जमाना कर ना सका उसकें कद का अंदाजा  वो आसमान था मगर सर झुका के चलता था। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह का 92 साल की उम्र में निधन भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह का 92 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया। गुरुवार शाम तबीयत बिगड़ने के कारण उन्हें दिल्ली के एम्स अस्पताल के इमरजेंसी वार्ड में भर्ती कराया गया था, जहां उनका निधन हो गया। उनके निधन की खबर से पूरे देश में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई है। कांग्रेस पार्टी ने कर्नाटक के बेलगावी में चल रहा दो दिवसीय अधिवेशन स्थगित कर दिया है। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे और राहुल गांधी समेत कई वरिष्ठ नेता दिल्ली लौट रहे हैं। डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह 2004 से 2014 तक देश के प्रधानमंत्री रहे। उनके निधन से भारतीय राजनीति के एक युग का अंत हो गया है। #ManmohanSingh

A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday near Mumbai when a ferry boat carrying passengers from the Gateway of India to the Elephanta Caves capsized near Elephanta Island. The accident happened after a Navy vessel collided with a passenger ferry named Neelkamal around 3:55 PM. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis confirmed during a briefing that 101 passengers were rescued, but unfortunately, 13 lives were lost. The collision between the defence vessel and the ferry caused the accident. Elephanta Island, located off the coast of Mumbai, is home to the famous Gharapuri Caves, a popular tourist attraction. Following the incident, the Coast Guard and Navy launched search and rescue operations in the area. According to Coast Guard Inspector General Bhisham Sharma, the Coast Guard was alerted about the incident by the Harbour Master of the Mumbai Port Authority. The Shiv Sena will Contest the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls, likely to be held next year, as part of Maharashtra's ruling alliance Mahayuti, said Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday. Talking to Reporters after a Meeting with former BMC Corporators, party MLAs, MPs and functionaries, Shinde said Mumbai has to be country's powerhouse and for doing so Mahayuti has to control its civic body just like it is in power in the state as well as at the Centre. The BMC Polls will be Contested as Mahayuti (alliance) in all 227 civic wards, said Shinde, who heads the Shiv Sena. The BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP are part of the Mahayuti alliance.
